Cirebon Fried Chicken

Ingredients of Cirebon Fried Chicken:

  • 1 whole (1.1 kg) of domestic chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 25 g of palm sugar
  • 500 ml of water
  • cooking oil

Cirebon Fried Chicken Spice, puree:

  • 6 shallots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 eggs hazelnut
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 2 cm galangal
  • 1 cm turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind

How to make Cirebon Fried Chicken

1. Boil the chicken with the spices, bay leaf, lemongrass, and salt until the soup depleted and the chicken is tender. Remove and drain. Chill.
2. Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and dry.
3. Serve warm.
