Pepper Mushroom Steak Recipe


Main Ingredients of Pepper Mushroom Steak:

  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 lb boneless round steak
  • 1 Tb oil
  • a half tsp salt
  • 2 Tb flour
  • 1 medium onion, sliced

Ingredients of Pepper Mushroom Steak Gravy

  • 1 can mushrooms (about 4oz)
  • a half Cup of water
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt

How to make Pepper Mushroom Steak:

  1. Mix salt, pepper and flour. Sprinkle one side of steak with mixture and pound in. Coat other side with remaining mixture and pound on. Cut steak into 4 servings.
  2. Heat oil in skillet until hot. Cook beef in oil over medium heat, turning once, until brown, about 10 minutes. Add onion and ladle it.
  3. In separate bowl, mix together Sauce ingredients. Pour over beef. Heat to boiling then reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 1 hour.
