Main Ingredients of Pepper Mushroom Steak:
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 lb boneless round steak
- 1 Tb oil
- a half tsp salt
- 2 Tb flour
- 1 medium onion, sliced
Ingredients of Pepper Mushroom Steak Gravy
- 1 can mushrooms (about 4oz)
- a half Cup of water
- 1/8 tsp red pepper sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
How to make Pepper Mushroom Steak:
Mix salt, pepper and flour. Sprinkle one side of steak with mixture and pound in. Coat other side with remaining mixture and pound on. Cut steak into 4 servings.
Heat oil in skillet until hot. Cook beef in oil over medium heat, turning once, until brown, about 10 minutes. Add onion and ladle it.
- In separate bowl, mix together Sauce ingredients. Pour over beef. Heat to boiling then reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 1 hour.
