Ingredients of Easy Lemon Baked Salmon Recipe:

  • 4 lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme (optional)
  • 4 6-to 8-ounces boneless salmon fillets, skin on
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided

How to make Easy Lemon Baked Salmon:

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Brush with a half tablespoon oil. Place salmon fillets, skin side down, on prepared baking sheet.
  2. Mix remaining oil, lemon zest and thyme in a small bowl. Spread thyme mixture over salmon fillets, dividing equally. Season with pepper and salt. Let stand 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  3. Bake salmon until just opaque in center, 15-18 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.

Ingredients of Simple Oven Baked Salmon Recipe:

  • 3 (about 9 ounce) fillets salmon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 6 tablespoons light olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

How to make Simple Oven Baked Salmon:

  1. In a medium bowl, prepare marinade by mixing salt,garlic, light olive oil, pepper, basil, parsley and lemon juice. Take salmon fillets in a medium glass baking dish, and cover with the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator about one hour, turning occasionally.
  2. Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celcius or about 375 degrees F .
  3. Place fillets in aluminum foil, cover with marinade, and seal. Take sealed salmon in the glass dish, and bake 35 to 45 minutes, until easily flaked with a fork.
